At the AHR Expo 2025 held in Orlando, Florida, USA, Gree Electric Appliances held a new product launch with the theme of “Heat Pump Innovation” on February 11, the second day of the expo, at the Orange County Convention Centre. The event focused on Gree’s new ultra heat series using R32 eco-friendly refrigerant for both residential and commercial applications, including the Flexx Universal Unitary Split System, AI 2.0 Airy, Clivia Split-type Unit with dual-way fresh air circulation system, Multi-Zone, Inverter Rooftop Packaged Unit and Multi VRF Series, showcasing Gree’s innovations in heat pump technology.
Flexx Ultra Heat Universal Unitary Split System
The Flexx series features Gree’s proprietary inverter G-Hyper compressor. The compressor receives on-demand air makeup through an intercooler, effectively enhancing the unit’s performance and reliability in extreme conditions. It can operate stably in temperatures ranging from -32℉ to 130℉ (-35℃ to 54℃), maintaining 100% cooling capacity at 115℉ (46℃) and 100% heating capacity down to -13℉ (-25℃). The unit meets up to 19 SEER2 and 10.5 HSPF2 efficiency ratings and can use R32 or R454B refrigerant. Equipped with an A2L refrigerant detection device, it ensures safe and reliable operation. The indoor unit offers four installation options, making it adaptable to various installation scenarios and convenient for local home and duct structures.

AI 2.0 Era in Home Application
The high-end Airy series features a self-developed ultra-wide frequency compressor that defrosts without stopping in ultra-low temperature environments, providing continuous heating for up to 10 hours. It provides comfortable air supply to every corner of the room, reaching up to 15.5 meters. The G-AI 2.0 technology upgrade improves overall operational efficiency by 25%, with adaptive dynamic learning and precise humidity control. Regardless of the season, it customizes the ideal temperature and humidity curve for users, creating a comfortable and healthy living environment. The Airy series is an excellent choice for families with higher requirements for comfort and intelligent environmental protection.

Dual-way Fresh Air Circulation System
Clivia split-type unit is equipped with an industry-first independent dual-way fresh air circulation system. It can introduce fresh outdoor air into the room and expel indoor stale air within 30 minutes, achieving whole-house fresh air circulation. Dual-way circulation can operate simultaneously with a fresh air and exhaust flow rate up to 17.6CFM (30m³/h) respectively. Even when the air conditioner is off, the fresh air system can still operate independently. The full heat exchange of fresh air ensures controlled oxygen levels and temperature and humidity, reducing the temperature difference between fresh air and indoor air and minimizing humidity loss.

Ultra Heat Multi-Zone Application
This Ultra Heat Multi-Zone system can operate stably at temperatures as low as -22℉(-30℃). A single outdoor unit can connect to up to 6 different types of indoor units, including one-way and multi-way cassette, floor ceiling, console, wall mounted, ducted and air handler type, allowing users to choose suitable indoor units based on their home structure and usage habits, and meeting the air supply needs of multiple indoor spaces simultaneously.

Ultra Heat Commercial Application
For commercial applications, the newly developed hybrid heating sustainable solution with air handler as one type of connectable indoor units were showcased, along with the latest series designed for the 575V voltage region of North America, expanding the application scenarios of multi VRF system in the local market.

Additionally, the rooftop packaged unit, which also uses Gree’s proprietary inverter G-Hyper compressor, features fully inverter design for the compressor and motor. They can provide stable heating down to -22℉(-30℃) and stable cooling up to 125℉(52℃). To address low-temperature environments, its condenser’s anti-freezing design can effectively prevent snow and ice accumulation, ensuring safe and reliable operation of the unit.
The launch event attracted significant attention from partners and customers from around the world, who showed great interest in Gree’s diverse product lineup and innovative eco-friendly technologies. Adhering to the green and low-carbon development philosophy and the eco-friendly and sustainable development, Gree will continue to delve into the infinite possibilities of ultra heat pump technology. We believe that with the close collaboration, Gree will continue to deepen its market strategy in North America, providing higher-quality products and services to consumers.
